get the bug

hey look -- this is exciting! rachel, of the shopbug, featured chez-sucre-chez as the shop of the week on her blog. she sent me interview questions and put together a REALLY really lovely post.


i love it! the interview questions were thoughtful and i LOVE the groupings/collages that she made from photos of my work. i lifted these three off of her post - so here's a preview:

hey, you know what else makes me feel pretty great? my new super-helper, ellen! she's gonna be helping me out around the studio from time to time this summer and i couldn't be happier to have her there with me. check out what she did yesterday as i sat stitching up some of my custom-orders from this weekend:


she printed up ALL of those new mailing envelopes (and a lot more that were outside of the shot) and took care of some other things from my very long to-do list. wow. thanks, ellen! everything you did was fantastic and super-helpful; i'm looking forward to our next hang-out!
