putting needles in a safe place

i made molly a knitting needle bag. her naughty little bulldog, dot, likes chewing wooden knitting needles, and by this point, she's destroyed quite a few and molly keeps having to go out and replace them. (because molly is a super-star knitter who inspires me with her skill and her ability to work out patterns in her head -- she's always working on something new, so she NEEDS all of those needles!) hopefully, once those needles are all tucked away safely inside this bag, dot wont be able to get to them. (and there is plenty of room for scissors and stitch holders and measuring tape and row counters and anything else she may need!)

it's nice that you made it have room for that cute little sheep too. :)

the sheep is a measuring tape! haha - it's so cute, right? my grandmother gave it to me years ago. i love it. i've seen them around a lot lately -- check knitting stores and fabric and craft stores, i bet you can find one of your very own!

That's so lovely! Are you going to start selling these in your Etsy shop? I really like how simple the design is.
