i'm happy with the way the letter came out, but the vines and the scollwork are a little too jagged, i think. next time, i will try stem stitch or couching. and next time i think i'm going for multiple colors...

Is this a tea towel? I can't wait to see how it turns out in the end -- I really like the light on dark thing with the pattern.
it's a tea towel - yes! i like the light on dark thing, too -- i really do like it as a one-color piece, but i think it may be interesting (and challenging) to try it with different colors for the letter, leaves, and berries. it's one of those things i INTENd to do -- we'll see if i get around to it...
